A series of tweaked fairytales.

My intention is to re-write stories that I grew up with and combine them with the values according to which I want to act today.
In some of these re-intepretations, I want to give voice to the non-human, which often remains muted and unheard.

In the series „once upon a time“, I offer a feminist take on relationship and gender dynamics in fairytales.

Collected wordpiles of 21st century mundanities

I am living in Europe in the 21st century in times framed as „polycrisis“: We have shifting geopolitics and ongoing wars in several countries. We have a globally growing movement of right-winged populism as well as economic inflation. And we are well-headed towards increasingly dangerous compound extreme weather events, with our collective transgression of planetary boundaries for the sake of economic growth. Bystanding and watching is not and option for me. So, I am doing my best to put my time and energy to counteract these tendencies.

However, I’m lucky enough that, to date, I mostly have to deal with the indirect consequences on a daily basis. So, I have some time left to get lost in my own little individuell problems as well. The wordpiles under the link below combine these two realities.
